Confidential communication
Privileged communication that may be disclosed only with the patient’s permission.
Confidential health care information
Private data that contain an individual’s health care history, present complaints, signs and symptoms, condition, diagnosis, treatment, or evaluation. It may be oral or recorded in any form or medium (paper, microfilm, electronic).
Confidential information
Data recognized by an individual that should not be freely disclosed and must be protected for unauthorized disclosure to another entity; private information.
Confidentiality
