Division of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code book that contains information about anesthesia services.
Anesthesia time
Surgical time period during a procedure in which an anesthesiologist and anesthetist, or both, participate. The elapsed time is documented and begins when the anesthesiologist prepares the patient for the operation and ends when the patient is taken to the hospital recovery room. Also called anesthesia minutes of service.
Anesthesiologist
Doctor of Medicine (MD) who specializes in anesthesiology, the medical specialty concerned with the pharmacological, physiological, and clinical aspects of anesthesia and related fields.
Anesthesiology
Study of the administration of anesthesia drugs or gas to produce nerve blocks or loss of sensation in a patient.
Anesthetist
Individual who administers anesthesia drugs or gas to a patient before or during an operative procedure.
Anglers insurance
Anglers insure their liability for accidents to the public, personal accident benefits for the anglers themselves and loss or damage to tackle up to a specified limit. Where the angler engages a gillie in the course of a business, employers’ liability cover is compulsory. If the gillie is a ‘domestic’ employee, the liability section of the household contents policy applies.
Animal Driven Cart Insurance
The Insurance protection for (i) own damage loss to cart/Tonga/coach by accidental external means, fire, explosion, Act of God Perils, malicious act including riot and strike including any of these perils whilst in transit by road, rail or inland waterways. (ii) against death or permanent total disablement of the animal used for pulling or driving the carriage due to accident caused whilst attached to the cart/Tonga/coach (iii) against third party liability (iv) for death or disablement of the driver due to accident whilst mounting into or dismounting from or driving the cart/Tonga or coach. Animals to be used for driving/pulling of cart/Tonga are Male Buffalo, Bullock, Castrated Bullock, Horse, Mule, Donkey, Camel, Yak.

The raising of domesticated animals as cattle, sheep, horses etc.
