A document that establishes the terms of a contract between a shipper and a transportation company under which freight is to be moved between specified points for a specified charge. Usually prepared by the shipper on forms issued by the carrier, it serves as a document of title, contract of carriage and a receipt for goods. Also, see Airway bill and Ocean Bill of Lading. Bill of Lading, Claused : Bill of Lading, which has been endorsed by the ship owner, as the goods described thereon do not conform to what is offered for shipment e.g., package missing, inadequately packed. Bill payment protection (BPP)
Pays agreed sums to fund household bills following accident, sickness and unemployment. The insurance is not linked to a credit agreement and therefore stands alone.

Biller
