Individual financial account indicating charges, payments, adjustments, and balances owed for services rendered. Also called financial accounting record, financial record , or patient account ledger .
Ledger cost (Life Insurance)
The net cost of a life insurance policy. This amount is determined by deducting the value of the policy at the end of the year from the total amount of premiums paid, minus dividends.
