Receiving room coverage
As described under bailee’s coverage and bailee, this is a form of coverage to protect the insured against claims alleging loss or damage to property belonging to others but temporarily in custody of the insured. Within associations this may be dry cleaning left in a receiving room or a package left with a doorman.
Receptionist
Medical office employee who greets patients and obtains personal and financial information for the medical practice.
Recertification
1. Renewal of certification after a specified time. 2. For home health plan recertification, physician receives, reviews, adjusts treatment; documents the plan in coordination with the care of the home health agency; and then bills for this subsequent plan adjustment. Tendency of a patient to have a relapse or return to inpatient hospitalization with the same medical problem.
