Certified Medical Transcriptionist (CMT)
Professional medical transcriptionist who has passed the written and practical examination offered by the Association for Integrity of Healthcare Documentation, formerly the American Association for Medical Transcription, and who participates in an ongoing program of continuing medical education to increase his or her knowledge of medicine and improve skills in medical transcription.
Certified Nurse Administrator (CNA)
Registered nurse (RN) who holds an administrative position at the nurse manager level or nurse executive level in a health care organization, is responsible for the proper allocation of available resources to provide efficient and effective nursing care, and who possesses evidence of certification by passing a nurse administration certification examination by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT)
Title received by an individual after appropriate training and passing a certification examination by the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO). JCAHPO also offers certification as an ophthalmic coding specialist.

Title received by a person after appropriate training and successfully passing a national certification examination administered by the American Academy of Professional Coders.
Certified Professional in Health Information Technology (CP Health IT)
Certification provides professional training and certification for those responsible for planning, selecting, implementing, and managing electronic health records (EHR) and other health information technology (HIT). CPHIT designation indicates that the holder has mastered the common body of knowledge for an electronic health records professional and, in addition, has evidenced expertise in a variety of health information technology applications including CPOE and electronic prescribing.
