Uniform billing format
Under a federal directive, standard billing style that requires hospitals and other Part A providers to itemize medical services on each billing statement. For electronically transmitted institutional claims, the uniform billing format is the 837i, which replaces the paper UB-04.

Uniform Building Code (UBC)
The building code that is maintained and published by the International Conference of Building Officials. It contains construction specifications and includes provisions for materials, processes and design.
Uniform claim task force
Organization that developed the initial HCFA-1500, now known as the CMS-1500 , professional claim form. The maintenance responsibilities were later assumed by the National Uniform Claim Committee (NUCC).

A fire code published by the International Conference of Building Officials and the Western Fire Chiefs Association.
Uniform forms
A standard form, used widely by many insurers and worded in a certain way. These forms are made and circulated by rating bureaus.
