MEDICAL, USA: 1. List of appointments of patients to be seen in the medical practice for the day. Also known as appointment schedule. 2. List of CPT codes with amounts payable for certain medical procedures and tests. Also known as fee schedule .

Schedule (General Insurance Terms/Property Insurance/Health Insurance)

A general term used to refer to a listing of the property covered under a particular policy, including the item’s description and value. In health insurance, this term refers to a list of medical procedures, whch also states the cost for each procedure. In property insurance, this term refers to a list of the buildings or real estate covered under a certain policy.

Schedule 3 Order

Issued annually when the government specifies the amount by which preserved benefits should increase between a member leaving a scheme and their normal pension date. The name is taken from PSA93, Schedule 3.

Schedule Injury

An injury listed in the workmen’s compensation law such as loss of a finger or toe, for which specified compensation is payable regardless of whether or not the employee suffers a loss of earning power.

Schedule of contributions

Special payment schedule aimed at ensuring that the pension scheme will not have an actuarial deficiency during the period concerned. Defined benefit schemes, because of the minimum funding requirement, must maintain a schedule signed by an actuary containing contribution rates and payment dates.
