Beneficiary

Person named in the insurance policy or pension plan to receive the proceeds at the death of the insured (policyholder). Types of beneficiaries are: alternate beneficiary, contingent beneficiary, irrevocable beneficiary, primary beneficiary , revocable beneficiary, secondary beneficiary, successor beneficiary , and tertiary beneficiary .
