The FSA does not intend to regulate claims handling on behalf of insurance companies, expert appraisal or loss adjusting. Cover applies within the UK and in respect of ‘Good Samaritan’ acts worldwide. An individual assistance policy offers cover on personal injury following malicious attack, loss/damage to professional equipment and legal defence costs (health and safety, data protection, tax investigations). The customised practice policy is a buildings and contents policy including employers’ liability, an item on drugs and medical stock and an emergency helpline.
